Zhonghai Club
Zhonghai Club is a sales office and clubhouse interior located in Beijing. The design uses the passage of time as its main theme. Artworks from different periods are placed throughout the space and set in dialogue with Italian furniture. The lines and proportions of that furniture are continued in the interior detailing. Metal, stone, wood and leather panels are combined, and the details give the rooms a quiet and elegant character. A large sculpture forms the central feature. The intent is an arts center that joins aesthetics and function.
