The Chinese zodiac in that year is the pig, so Yen C designed the sliced pig, and it's a pun in "many hot movies" in Chinese. The characters are very happy, just in line with the channel's image has always wanted to give the audience the feeling. And combine four movies elements into the video. Children who are playing can best show pure happiness, and hope that the audience will have the same feeling when watching the movie.
Continue readingAs for the creative letter animation, Jin started with the alphabet "A". And, when it comes to the concept step, he tried to see more vigorous moods reflecting on his philosophy which is quite active but organizing at the same time. Along the way, he came up with the conflicting words thoroughly standing for his idea in some way such as align to air which is the title of this project. With that in mind, the animation presents more precise and delicate moments on the first word. On the other hand, this ends up with a rather flexible and loose vibe to manifest the last letter.
Continue readingDr.Bei S7 is a sonic electric toothbrush developed for sensitive gums. The S7 uses a 4D elastic brush head that bends to clean between the teeth while limiting pressure on the gums. The motor allows an adaptive angle change of eight degrees, which softens the effect of firm brushing. A pressure sensor lowers the frequency when the applied force passes a set limit. Stepless power adjustment lets users select a suitable cleaning strength. The simple geometry and the glass panel combine the interactive interface with the body.
Continue readingThe Cloud of luster is a wedding chapel located inside a wedding ceremony hall in Himeji city, Japan. The design tries to translate the modern wedding ceremony spirit into physical space. The chapel is all white, a cloud shape enveloped almost entirely in curved glass opening it to the surrounding garden and water basin. The columns are toped in hyperbolic capital like heads smoothly connecting them to the minimalistic ceiling. The chapel socle on the basin side is a hyperbolic curve allowing the whole structure to appear as if it is floating on the water and accentuate its lightness.
Continue readingHill Wind is a resort hotel located in Anji County, Huzhou. The external form follows modern architectural thinking, with geometric cloud shapes drawn from the origami concept and extended into irregular volumes. A white membrane material is joined to these forms through structural changes. Inside, a narrow entrance passage creates a deep sense of space, and a continuously flowing ceiling is shaped and stitched by craftsmen. Bamboo and wood from the Anji area are used as building materials. The project covers 3500 square meters and echoes the surrounding natural landscape.
Continue readingZ Line House is a private house located in Semarang, Indonesia. The design uses a parametric system to shape both the geometry and the structure. A series of calculated, sculptural interventions defines the facade, while the interior spaces are planned for fluid transitions in both horizontal and vertical directions. The geometry is optimized to control water flow during the heavy rainfall of the tropical climate. A detailed solar study guided the eastern and western facades, and the openings follow view axes, occupant height and the even distribution of natural light.
