Architecture Factory

The Architecture Factory is a third level architectural education, learning and research space situated in a disused split-level warehouse in Cork, Ireland. The interior architectural intervention adapts used shipping containers into lecturer offices dividing the ground floor space into 7 open plan studios. These are divided from a new mezzanine structure by a wide boulevard which functions as a live lab, exhibition and making space. The mezzanine cantilevers over this space creating online learning facilities above seminar rooms, storage, photo labs and studios bookending the enclosures.

Patakukkonen Rye Pie

Patakukkonen is a Finnish traditional oven baked kukko (pie) made from regional ingredients. The brand was inspired by the owner grandmother's cooking, which in turn prompted us to incorporate snippets of the actual family history through authentic photographs. The packaging allows the product to be merchandised 5 different ways, working around the challenge presented by the diverse environments where the product would be showcased and ensuring flexibility and visibility.

SATA | BIA - Blue Islands Açor

The BIA is a local-bird symbol of the Atlantic Sky, which flies over thoughts and dreams over countries, a pilot of nature which transports people, memories, business and companies. At SATA, BIA will always symbolize the union of the nine islands of the Archipelago in one atlantic challenge: take the name of the Azores to the World and bring the World to the Azores. The BIA – Blue Islands Azores – a reinvented açor bird, rectilinear, inspired in the futurism of prototypes, built on its unique genetic code, as asymmetrical, distinct and colored as the nine islands of the Azores.

yoshi bar 2nd

systematically pieced together using six panels of reeds, the ‘yoshi bar’ by japanese designer naoya matsumoto resembles a traditional gabled roof stall. situated at the seian university of arts and design in otsu, shiga, japan, the small shelter is held in place by the natural fibers, which are grown in biwako, shiga. the different panels are unable to stand alone, but when placed next to each other they are supported to form the intimate enclosure. offering snatched glimpses through to its interior, the sculptural piece has an enchanting quality to it.

Only Right Here

Since the twelfth century the first bullfights were documented as an act or public spectacle. Today consciousness awakening of people is a symptom of an overall global assessment, being partakers of the divine nature, we are a whole. "Only Right Here" symbolizes a new era, where there will be an extinction of aggressive activities, being embodied in what once was a cultural feast, and the great evolutionary step on a humanistic level.

Haezer

Haezer is known for his solid bass sound, epic breaks with well polished effects. Its the sort of sound that comes off as just straight forward dance music, but on closer inspection or listening you’ll start to discover multiple layers of frequencies within the finished product. For the creative concept and execution the challenge was to simulate the audio experience known as Haezer. The artwork style is not at all the typical dance music style, thus making Haezer a genre of his own.
