Planetary Ring

Planetary Ring is a ring made from meteorite material. The design is inspired by Muonionalusta, an iron meteorite found in Sweden. A miniature bearing, one millimeter in diameter, is set in the center of the meteorite disc, so the disc rotates as the wearer moves, in the manner of a planet. The surface keeps the natural pattern of the iron meteorite, formed by machining and acid etching. The meteorite is left without anti-oxidation plating, so the texture changes over time. The support structure is made of 925 silver and is joined without welding.

Love Eternity is a pair of earrings designed to express the enduring nature of love. Each earring consists of two parts, a bezel holding a ruby and a spiral drop element. The bezel has a channel from which the spiral hangs, allowing a pendulum motion when worn. Alternating rows of diamonds and gold form two strands that wind into one and flow in a spiral course. The earrings are made from 14K solid yellow gold, two round lab-grown rubies of 3 millimeters each and about 558 round diamonds. Production included computer modeling, 3D printing, lost-wax casting and stone setting.

The Golden Sunflower is a statement ring with a flower-shaped design featuring an Amethyst crafted in yellow and white gold. The design was inspired by natural flowers. The artist wanted to create a flower-like ring without prongs. Instead, the little petals were used to hold the central stone. Each one of the petals was individually installed and had a diamond set in it. The petals of the ring appear to be emerging from the flower, creating a realistic and elegant design. Because of the by-pass shank style, the leaves help to complete the shank to provide a comfortable fit.

The ring is made of 925 silver using 3D printing and the lost wax technique. It measures 20 by 30 by 30 millimeters and weighs 30 grams. The intent is to turn an invisible feeling into an object that can be worn.

The design is inspired by the De Stijl movement, founded in 1917, and uses basic visual elements such as rectangles and cylinders to form a simple abstract composition. Rectangles of different sizes are repeated and aligned, some hollow and some filled, creating a rhythmic pattern and a sense of movement that guides the eye. The ring measures 20.80 by 18.76 millimeters and weighs 7.95 grams. A wax prototype was printed in three dimensions before casting.
