Yu’s Residence

Yu's Residence is a residential interior design for a 135 square meter apartment in Taipei. The design joins classical form with contemporary technique. Thin titanium-coated stainless steel strips are set into concave recesses, so reflections glitter softly in the shadows. The materials change in appearance as the sunlight moves. The entrance cabinet is separated from the wall, which extends the view from the entrance toward the living room. Gray mirrors on the walls reflect the scenery outside and enlarge the sense of space. Leading By Light

Leading By Light is a residential interior design completed in Taiwan. The twenty year old house stood empty for three years and was renovated as a gift from a mother to her daughter. An open layout connects the living room, dining area and kitchen. A full height window and a clear glass partition in the study let daylight reach the whole space.
